Whilst I haven't yet made any meaningful practical progress on my handmade gifts (last minute? Self imposed pressure?? Moi? Of course!!) I have been putting in the planning and preparation. I do pretty much know what I am making for everyone, have most of the supplies I need and a clear schedule after this week to get cracking on everything. In the meantime I thought I'd share some of the ideas I've been furiously "pinning" in preparation....
Yummy huh? Even better, (apart from the felt tic tac toe and letters/numbers,) ALL of these ideas have free tutorials or pattern downloads!!! You can find all of the original sources and links to the original sites here :)
I'd better get cracking!!

Oooo - lots of lovely inspiration here!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what delicious inspiration...thanks so much for sharing links to these! I can't believe they are all free downloads and/or tutorials! The online world is so giving!!!
ReplyDeleteOoh if you make the body scrub will you let me know how it goes? I'm so tempted to do that - a lovely excuse to play around with nice smells. The only thing that puts me off is sourcing the tubs. I don't have a ready made collection of jars lying around and don't particularly fancy paying loadsa money for them - where are you getting yours? x
ReplyDeleteThat obi belt looks great! Is that leather? I think I'm going to need to try and find you Pintrest so I can find out where the tutorial is-- I have some leather from an old coat that would be perfect to try this with!
ReplyDeleteDeLicious inspiration and all with tutorials! I've made one Martha Stewart scarlet and am on no.2 now- it's so satisfying. I fancy the ear warmers in a bow now ...And the fingerless glovies ...
ReplyDeleteI made that little girl's dress a couple times. The pattern is sooo easy. I can finish one in less than an hour.
ReplyDeleteI kind of consider myself lucky that we exchange gifts with very few people, otherwise I know I would be completely overwhelmed by gift planning and crafting right now! But those are some seriously cute ideas. I've actually knit a bow knot scarf just like the mustard one in the bottom left of the first photos!
